Sanders Vision Training

Achieving peak athletic performance requires many skills such as speed and strength. However, vision training is an essential skill that is often overlooked. Vision training includes skills such as peripheral awareness, hand eye coordination, visual tracking, and reaction speed. Here are some indications of vision problems affecting sports performance:

  • Inconsistent performance
  • Not performing to potential
  • Incomplete benefit from extra coaching or practice
  • Unduly affected by physical factors, fatigue, or game stress
  • Concentration Problems
  • Practice is great, but performs poorly during games
  • Thinks too much, unable to get in the zone

At Sanders Vision Training, we evaluate our athletes on the Senaptec Sensory Station. The Sensory Station is a state-of-the-art sensory evaluation and training station which assesses 10 visual and sensorimotor skills. The evaluation on the sensory station will compare your visual skills to others of your same sex, age, sport, and position. We will use this evaluation to determine an individual’s strengths and opportunities to improve performance. We will also take baseline concussion measurements that can help determine return to play should an injury occur. We are here to help athletes of all ages and across all sports to perform at their highest level.
